This is my latest painting. The image was composited from two seperate images, one for the face, and another of the hair, and sketched over in Photoshop to get the outlines, then the images were removed and a colour pallette was made from each image. The remaining colouring, shading and lighting was added using the colour palette.
It took roughly a week and a half, on and off, and i have been following some online tutorials very closely for techniques.
I've been staring at it too long now, and there are some bits that still annoy me - im convinced her right eye is on a tilt, but i want to move on now.
